It seems like it was only a few years ago that I had all my life ahead of me. My plans and aspirations were huge. But what happened to the time? The years rushed by and I'm now looking at having only a few good years left on this earth. It makes a person wonder how they'll be remembered after they're gone.I was just reading about Charlie Wilson, you know, the guy the movie Charlie Wilson's War was written about. He is now retired from Congress and looks back with great satisfaction that he did something worthwhile by helping the people of Afghanistan fight the communists. He managed to secretly funnel millions of dollars to Afghanistan to help those people fight and defend their country. He invested his life in something he passionately believed in.
How about us? How are you and I investing our live? How will we be remembered?
Are we getting wiser, or are we just coasting through life doing the least we can to get by?
